Nino Mustica exclusively designed for Artep the Collection "Morphologies", a 6 pieces limited edition of hand-knotted rugs with an high knot density. Fluid and dynamic shapes, result of a graphic work with irregular geometry, giving rise to a polyhedral opposing movements

con-fusion collection


Con-Fusion is a collection that was created unexpectedly from different personalities of the Office Stile Artep Italia. The carpets here presented, fully customizable by colors and sizes, represent the new trend in the world of textile creation. 


Interaction between light and color. Thanks to the collaboration with the Carnovsky design team an unprecedented project is born.

Limited edition carpets, screens and wall hangings that change design depending on the color spectrum projected for a dramatic effect.

Rugs Collection inspired by the collaboration with Studio Nemesi, which designed in 2015 the Italian Expo pavilion.

That of Jacques Toussaint is a world made of signs in which the segment becomes the expressive figure of a clean and minimal search, that "does not chase, often dangerous, literary, theatric or poetic contamination", as the critic Gillo Dorfles cited in a text of 1978.

With the union of the famous flying carpet of our childhood fairy tales and our daily lives, the concept of this collection is born. Alessandro Mendini performs an interpretation of key decorative themes straddling modern living, and the "mystical" vision of "traditional functions ". These creations were born with a specific purpose such as prayer rugs. 





Shizen, which in Japanese means "nature", takes its inspiration from natural elements in constant motion, in contrast to the static element of the carpets. The coming and going of waves and leaves blowing in the wind, are reinterpreted here, in a figurative key becoming a decorative element.

The Rainbow collection uses 12 color dyes in gradation for each individual carpet, thanks to which, while maintaining a minimalist style, you can get an amazing play of colors that can create an enhanced spaciousness.

A carpet in which your fingerprint becomes a unique and unrepeatable design; this is the synthesis of a collection that makes customizing like a blank painting waiting to be brought to life. 

nature collection


The carpets of the Nature collection are made with the use of natural fibers such as hemp and linen. Nature is the result of thousands of years of Tibetan weavers combined with simple graphic elements specially designed by our Studio Stile Artep Italia.

Textures and materials meet and processing techniques overlap ; hand-knotted in India, the carpet has warp and weft in cotton and fleece in wool and silk, with the addition of the loop technique that creates a three-dimensional effect, a vibrating surface, both to touch and sight.
